Concern for preventative medicine is the hallmark to a good animal hospital. We encourage annual health exams for the general well-being of your pet and early detection of potential health problems. 

In addition, we offer a FREE 1 year Rabies Vaccination with your pet's annual comprehensive examination and complimentary dental evaluations of your pet's teeth and gums at any time during the year. Both of these services are our way of helping you provide your pet with the best possible preventative health care.

Because we truly care about your pet and making sure he/she stays happy and healthy, our office encourages our clients to call at any time with any questions pertaining to your pets.  Whether it is a general question about a particular behavior, nutrition question or for more information about a particular treatment, or maybe your pet is having a problem and you would like to know if there is anything you can do at home, we are glad to hear from you. In many instances, we can provide information or suggestions for you to try at home before having to schedule an appointment. Complete Diagnostic Capabilities begin with the exam room where your pet's health needs are evaluated in the proper environment. A thorough history is the hallmark of a complete physical examination. Clinical pathology services such as blood chemistry and urinalysis, digital X-rays and electrocardiograms permit accurate diagnosis so that appropriate treatment can be initiated. Our office is equipped with its own blood chemistry machines to provide fast and accurate test results when they are needed most. In order to be up-to-date on the latest techniques in diagnostic medicine, our doctors attend veterinary continuing education courses on a regular basis. 

In-patient care and hospitalization require state-of-the art equipment and a highly trained support staff to provide your pet with the highest quality of care. Our clinic is equipped with computerized intravenous infusion pumps, digital pulse oximetry, telemedicine electrocardiogram services, indirect blood pressure monitoring and video otoscopy to provide your pet with the best care possible. 

Our clinic also utilizes the services of board certified specialists in areas such as neurology, surgery, cardiology, oncology, laser therapy, dermatology, acupuncture and behavior should the need arise.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
    
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds and endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, state-of-the art digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery. Most dental problems occur below the gum line-digital dental radiographs let us assess your pet's mouth for severe problems that might be developing.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer tattooing and microchip implantation.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualized Flea/Tick Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas and ticks in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Boarding:  We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
